face masks

Homemade face masks are great ways to clean your skin.

Dry skin  : 

Mash 1/2 a ripe avocado in a bowl, then 

stir in honey.

Apply to skin and leave for 10 minutes. 

Rinse face with a cool washcloth.

oily skin: 

put 1/4 of a cup of strawberries and non-flavored yogurt

 in a blender to combine or mash 

together the 

strawberries and yogurt with a fork 

(the blender works

 best). Spread on face and wash after 

10-15 minutes.

combination skin:

Mash up half to one whole banana in a 

bowl with a 

tablespoon of honey and spread this on your skin and 

rinse off after 10 minutes.

lip Balm Review

I recently bought a lip balm from the body shop and its amazing , called vanilla bliss it's  in an half egg shaped container which I think is great.Vanilla bliss is colour less but it has a little shimmer to it ,ginger sparkles and cranberry joy are also flavors that are available .

pros

• nice smell
• leaves lips soft
• Not to large
• not  to bright
• natural ingredients

 cons 

• bits stick to the lip balm
• lid cracks
• the lids screw lines dent the lip balm

 Overall this is quite a good product. I got it on sale for 2 pounds but it is originally 4 pounds. click  here to go to the site.

Leather and Lace 

Leather and Lace is really cool because the Lace is quite girlie  but the Leather gives it a 'Tough' twist.The great thing is that alot of Leather or Lace isn't needed , a little can go a long way.

How to wear           Picture from Asos market

I would wear this style with  flat black pumps or studded pumps because the style is quite delicate but any black shoes would do.    TIP-Don't overdo the leather or lace because you don't want to look tacky.

Uses for Vaseline.

 Vaseline can be used for so many things and its quite cheap 

Put a coat on your eyelashes before you go to bed. it will make your lashes grow longer and thicker over time.

 Put a coat of Vaseline on your feet at night, cover them with socks and wake up to softer feet – every day!

 Put Vaseline on your elbows every day – they will stay soft!

. Put Vaseline on your cuticles several times a day for softer and better looking cuticles every day.

. Put Vaseline on chapped lips

 Use Vaseline as lip gloss

. Melt Vaseline and one chocolate chip in the microwave, mix and let resolidify for chocolate lip gloss!

 Maintains perfume scent longer when applied at perfume points before spritzing the perfume.

 Can be used as a moisturizer for acne sufferers 

 Moisturizes severe dry skin

 Use Vaseline on your knees to prevent that dry, ashy look

 Mix with sea salts to make a scrub!

 Applying Vaseline on your teeth prevents lips from sticking to teeth for celebrities and contestants in beauty pageants who smile a lot

 Apply a small amount on dry spots on your body before fake tanning lotions are applied, and prevent uneven tanning!

 Generously apply Vaseline all over before taking flights to fight dryness

Once you carve your Halloween pumpkin, rub Vaseline on the exposed edges. it keeps it from rotting or going dry.

How to make twist bands

I  posted these before but it's much cheaper to make your own.

  

1. First get some elastic ribbon/f.o.e (fold over elastic).
2. Measure the ribbon exactly 9.5 inches long , or you can make it bigger or smaller so it goes around your wrist,and cut it.
3. Fold it in half and knot it.
4. Burn or put clear nail polish on the ends of the elastic to stop the ends from fraying . 

You've just made your own twist band.

These are great because you can wear them as bracelets or in your hair,because they are made from rubber they don't break your hair and are very comfortable on your wrists Amazon and Ebay sell these.

  

Emi-Jay hair ties/twist bands

 

These are also great because they leave your hair crease free , because everyone knows how irritating it is when you take out your hair band leaving a 'Bump'in your hair. You can also get these from amazon.These also look great on your wrists.

Shoes-Creepers  

I saw a girl wearing them on the tube and i was like" I like those".So i searched for them on Google and i found out they were called creepers(flat forms).My first pair were from river island , my second from Barratts. 

   some designs with creepers .                                                 

  

Chanel used them at Chanel resort 2013                                       Charlie Le Mindu used at London fashion week too. 

Creepers go with anything.If you're wearing something casual wear the trainer type if not wear the other type.You can also get the pointy,studded, metallic and lot's of other designs if you like them , or customize your own.
